Maciej “MJ” Lisiak is one of the creative senior sensor design engineers at FUTEK Advanced Technology in Irvine, California, leading the charge on the Micro Miniaturization Team. Through dynamic concept to market execution, he has a proven track record of bringing game-changing solutions to some of the most challenging sensing applications, including:
• Miniature autoclavable sensors for use in medical systems. The design accounts for high cycle fatigue with 100 million cycles without failure
• Nanosensor, featuring the smallest foil strain in-line gauge sensor in the industry.
Maciej has graduated with a master’s degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology. With his effort, FUTEK has been granted multiple patents related to the revolutionary force-sensing technology, with more on its way.
